Groundhog Technologies (MIT) selected by China Unicom

Groundhog Technologies, an MIT spinoff that models mobility patterns of wireless telecom users, announced on Wednesday, May 5, that it has been selected by China Unicom to model mobility and usage behavior in the Heilongjiang province. China Unicom has used Groundhog’s Mobility Based Optimization services to improve performance more than 90% of that predicted in the original proposal. [press release]
