Impinj is a Caltech spinoff that develops UHF Gen 2 RFID solutions. The company was co-founded by Professor Carver Mead of Caltech and Dr. Chris Diorio of University of Washington.

Astrobotic Technology is a CMU spinoff focusing on commercial robotic services for lunar exploration.
