NanoBio (Michigan) Receives $6 Million to Develop an Intranasal Vaccine for Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) (11/30/2010)

NanoBio is a biopharmceutical company developing products for the treatment of infectious diseases. The company was spun out of the University of Michigan’s Center for Biologic Nantotechnology in 2000. The company was founded by James R. Baker, Jr. M.D., who is Ruth Dow Doan Professor of Medicine and Head of Allergy and Immunology at the University of Michigan as well as Nano Bio’s Executive Chairman and CEO. Dr. Baker invented the NanoStat technology which serves as the platform for NanoBio’s products.
