Fluxion Biosciences (Berkeley) Announces Product Launch of BioFlux™ 1000Z (12/7/2010)

Fluxion Biosciences produces tools for cellular analyses. The company was founded in 2005 based on dissertation work by Michelle Khine, Ph.D., when she was a graduate student in Professor Luke Lee’s lab at UC Berkeley. Dr. Khine is currently an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Chemical Engineering and Material Science at UC Irvine. Cristian Ionescu-Zanetti, Ph.D., who was a post-doctoral researcher in Professor Luke Lee’s lab, serves as Fluxion’s CTO.

Fluxion Biosciences, Inc. announced that the new BioFlux 1000Z system for live cell imaging will be launched at the 50th American Society for Cell Biology Annual Meeting to be held December 11-15, 2010 in Philadelphia, PA. The BioFlux 1000Z is the latest addition to the BioFlux product family of instruments for cellular analysis under controlled shear flow. read full press release
