Fluidigm (Caltech) Files S-1 Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering (12/3/2010)

Fluidigm was founded in 1999 to commercialize IFC technology developed by Dr. Stephen Quake when he was at Caltech.

Fluidigm Corporation announced today that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of Fluidigm’s common stock. Fluidigm develops, manufactures and markets microfluidic systems for growth markets in the life science and agricultural biotechnology, or Ag-Bio, industries. The shares in the offering will be offered by Fluidigm. The number of shares to be offered and the price range for the offering have not yet been determined. read full press release
