NanoH2O (UCLA), Nanosys (Columbia) named in Wall Street Journal’s Technology Innovation Awards (9/27/2010)

NanoH2O is a UCLA spinoff that provides reverse osmosis membranes that change the fundamental economics of desalination. Nanosys Inc. is a Columbia-based spinoff that delivers process-ready materials for electronics device manufacturers and lithium ion battery makers.

The Wall Street Journal announced winners in 17 categories of the Innovation Awards. NanoH2O was named the winner in the Environment category. Nanosys was named a runner-up in the Semiconductors category. [read more]
