Luminus Devices (MIT) introduces new product and announces two partnerships

Luminus Devices, an MIT spinoff that develops and manufactures high performance solid-state light sources, made three announcements at LightFair on Wednesday, May 12. First, the company introduced its new SBT-90 PhlatLight LED. The product is positioned for use in the entertainment, display, medical and automotive spaces. [press release]

Next, the company announced its CSM-360 PhlatLight LED is being used by Almeco Group in its single-source LED street light. [press release]

Finally, Luminus Devices announced a partnership with Guth, a Philips Group Brand Company that produces indoor and outdoor lighting products. This announcement comes a week after the May 4th announcement that Luminus Devices will power Philip’ Selecon’s FOCUS LED. [press release]
