Luminus Devices (MIT) announces its CBM-380 chip powers Philips’ Selecon’s FOCUS LED

Luminus Devices, an MIT spinoff that develops and manufactures high performance solid-state light sources, announced on Monday, April 19, that Philips Selecon is using the Luminus CBM-380 chip as opposed to an LED array to power its FOCUS LED. The CBM-380 contains one color mixing PhlatLight LED, capable of delivering 3,500 lumens reliably without costly lamp changes or high energy consumption.
